Leigh Parks has extensive experience in strategic planning, project management, and communications, currently serving as Deputy Programme Director Global Strategy and Impact at Amnesty International since October 2014. In this role, Leigh supports the organization's strategic and operational planning while managing the Portfolio Management Office to enhance clarity and consistency. Previous positions at Amnesty International include Programme Manager and Project Manager roles within Marketing and Communications and the Strategy and Planning Unit, focusing on project delivery and stakeholder coordination. Prior to Amnesty International, Leigh held the position of Communications Planner at Post Office, where strategic planning and communication effectiveness were primary responsibilities. Leigh holds a degree in Photography, Art and Design from the University of the West of England and a Foundation Diploma in Art and Design from Plymouth College of Art.
