Rakesh Kumar

Rakesh Kumar is a distinguished server architect with extensive experience in the semiconductor industry. Currently working at Ampere since March 2019, Rakesh holds the title of Distinguished Server Architect. Prior to this role, Rakesh served as Senior Principal Server Architect at zGlue from August 2016 to February 2019, leading design verification and enabling high-volume manufacturing for IoT applications. Rakesh's tenure at Intel Corporation from January 2005 to May 2016 included positions such as Verification Lead, Engineering Manager, and Senior Component Design Engineer, focusing on verification and validation of Intel Atom-based products and multi-core Xeon server products. Earlier experience includes a role as Senior IC Design Engineer at Texas Instruments, where Rakesh was responsible for DSP subsystem verification and test pattern development. Rakesh holds a Master of Science in Electronics from Savitribai Phule Pune University, completed between 1997 and 1999.
