Ilia Maksimenka

Ilia Maksimenka is a seasoned professional in the fields of decentralized finance (DeFi), blockchain technology, and digital marketing, with extensive experience spanning over a decade. Currently serving as a Core Contributor at Amplified since October 2022, Ilia focuses on optimizing yield and liquidity within the Liquid Staking Derivatives (LSD) and Liquid Restaking Tokens (LRT) ecosystem for ETH and BTC. Prior to this role, Ilia founded multiple companies, including 0xPlasma Labs, a DeFi and NFT Metaverse DEX aggregator, and Plasma Wallet, a self-custodial mobile wallet for DeFi and Web3. Ilia also co-founded Plasma DLT, a public blockchain designed for various financial applications. Earlier career positions include significant roles in international business development and digital strategy across various sectors, along with a strong educational background featuring a Master of Arts from McGill University and multiple degrees in economics from Plekhanov Russian University of Economics.
