Sonja Thiel

Sonja Thiel is an experienced education professional with a strong background in STEM curriculum development and teaching. Currently serving as a Product Owner for Math Supplementals at Amplify since September 2024, Sonja previously held various roles at Up Learn from January 2020 to May 2024, including Learning Executive, Learning Associate, and Content Developer, where responsibilities included course planning, design, and quiz development. Sonja's teaching experience spans several institutions, including the German School Association - Deutsche Schule London and the German International School Boston, where roles involved teaching IB Biology and coordinating biology education for grades 5-12. Sonja holds a Master of Education from the University of Münster, along with a Teaching License and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and German, demonstrating a comprehensive educational background and specialized training in cognitive science and instructional design.
