Michael Towey

Michael Towey, M.A., CCC-SLP, directs the Speech Language Pathology program at Waldo County Hospital in Belfast, Maine. He leads a department of 19 speech pathologists who provide speech therapy via telepractice nationally and internationally. He is a Fellow of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and recipient of the Lindamood Award for Clinical Leadership and The Lifetime Achievement Award from Northern Arizona University. Mike provides professional training for voice, swallowing disorders and telemedicine, including groups in Israeli, Finland, Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Italy.
