We are seeking an exceptional Sales Leader to build and grow our Enterprise Sales team in the South + LatAm region. This individual will play a critical role in recruiting, onboarding, and managing the next wave of Enterprise Account Executives (AEs) across the Southern U.S. + Latin America As a key leader, you will help shape and drive the success of the Enterprise Sales team as we expand our Field organization in 2024 and beyond.

As a Regional Sales Director, you will:

  • Recruit, onboard, coach, and mentor Enterprise AEs, leveraging Amplitude’s proven sales methodologies to drive success in securing net new logos.
  • Analyze and forecast regional performance, using core Enterprise business metrics to guide your team’s growth and execution.
  • Leverage MEDDPICC principals to inspect sales opportunities and coach your team.
  • Support key deals, engaging directly with customers both onsite and remotely to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including field marketing, product marketing, demand generation, and sales engineering—to allocate resources effectively and drive alignment.
  • Develop and communicate growth plans for your region, charting the path to success over the next 18 to 24 months.

You’ll thrive in this role if you:

  • 4+ years of experience leading Enterprise sales teams, with a proven track record of exceeding quota.
  • Are data-driven, leveraging metrics to coach and manage both quantitative and qualitative aspects of the business.
  • Have a passion for hiring and developing top talent, building a world-class Enterprise sales team.
  • Possess a playbook for executing complex Enterprise deals, knowing when to adapt it for unique situations.
  • Are a hands-on leader, driven to actively support your team in achieving success.
  • Enjoy scaling high-performance Enterprise businesses and tackling challenges to double revenue within the next 12 months.

Based on legislation in New York City, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in New York City. New York City salary range: $272,000 - $408,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission)
