Shawn McKay

Shawn McKay is a seasoned Staff Software Engineer currently leading the audiences team at Amplitude, focusing on user understanding and targeting. Prior to this role, Shawn contributed to BioRender as a Staff Software Engineer, spearheading experimental projects such as the AI Figure Generation team, and held leadership positions in developing internal tools and fullstack solutions. Experience at Sauce Labs as Growth Team Lead involved growth hacking and experimentation for user acquisition and retention. Shawn's tenure at Semios included managing two teams as Applications Team Lead, alongside extensive work as a Fullstack JavaScript Developer and React Native Developer on IoT-related applications. Earlier roles included a Full Stack Developer at Agartee Technology Inc., an App Developer Instructor at RED Academy, and founder of CodeRoad. From 2010 to 2015, Shawn served as an Associate Professor at Hallym University in South Korea, recognized as a top educator.
