Constantin Scherelis

Constantin Scherelis is a Project Engineer specializing in subsea cable installations at Amprion GmbH since October 2024, with prior experience as a Senior Offshore Surveyor at Jan De Nul Group from May 2021 to September 2024. Constantin has managed geophysical surveys and subsea positioning for offshore renewable energy projects and has a background in hydrographic engineering, having executed projects globally, including in Scotland and Taiwan. Academic credentials include a PhD in Maritime Engineering focused on tidal energy from the University of Tasmania, a Master of Science in Oceanography from the University of Maine, and a Bachelor of Science in Geology and Environmental Studies from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Additionally, Constantin has contributed to the International Network on Offshore Renewable Energy as an Australasian Committee Representative, and has held various research and teaching roles throughout an extensive academic and professional career in marine sciences.
