Johnathan Matlock

Johnathan Matlock has over fifteen years of experience in the biotech and pharmaceutical industries. Johnathan has held senior positions at several companies, including Glaia, Science Angel Syndicate, GenomeKey, Ascension Ventures, and ARGONAUTE RNA LIMITED. In October 2019, they joined Science Creates as a consultant, where they helped connect early stage companies to investor networks and curated deal flow to investors. In January 2019, they became an advisor for Signum-Health Ltd, a virtual place that connects professionals from all sectors to local health and well-being services. From February 2017 to August 2018, they worked as a senior scientist at Ziylo. Prior to that, they were a postdoctoral research assistant at the University of Bristol from July 2015 to January 2017.

Johnathan Matlock has a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Organic Chemistry from the University of Bristol, a Master of Chemistry in Chemistry from the University of York, and a degree from William Bradford Community College.
