John Schmid

John Schmid is currently the Director at AnaptysBio. Prior to this, they held various positions including Chief Financial Officer at Auspex Pharmaceuticals, Board Member and Audit Committee Chair at Patara Pharma, and Board Member, Audit Committee Chair, and Nominating/Governance Committee Member at Neos Therapeutics. Under John's leadership, Auspex Pharmaceuticals was sold to Teva for $3.5 billion just 18 months after they joined the company. John has also taken several companies public, including Auspex Pharmaceuticals and Xeris Pharmaceuticals.

John Schmid has a Bachelors in Economics from Wesleyan University and an MBA from the University of San Diego. John also attended Orono High School.
