Axel Backlund

Axel Backlund is a co-founder of Andon Labs since October 2024 and previously held the position of Fellow Data Engineer at both QuantumBlack, AI by McKinsey and McKinsey & Company from August 2023 to October 2024. Axel also worked as a Master Thesis Student at SEB Life International from January 2023 to May 2023 and co-founded Belt of Sweden, where involvement extended from September 2020 to May 2023. Prior experience includes serving as an iOS developer at Hedvig from March 2019 to August 2022 and as a student consultant at Digital Edge from September 2017 to November 2019. Axel completed a Civilingenjörsexamen in Industriell ekonomi at KTH Royal Institute of Technology (2018-2023) and studied at EPFL from September 2021 to July 2022, following earlier education at Kungsholmens Gymnasium from 2015 to 2018.
