Ellen Lai Tunoa

Ellen Lai Tunoa serves as a Talent Partner for the Bio + Health fund at Andreessen Horowitz since August 2009, where the focus is on building a network in the scientific and healthcare sectors. Prior to this role, Ellen built the College Talent Program at Andreessen Horowitz, establishing relationships with over 25 top universities. Ellen’s previous experience includes serving as a Campus Relations Specialist at VMware, where significant increases in intern recruitment were achieved, and as a University Relations Program Specialist at Yahoo!, managing the onboarding of 325 interns and enhancing the company's campus presence. Early career experiences include roles at Jobscience and Kaiser Permanente, focused on sales support and customer service. Ellen holds a BA in Design Studies with an emphasis on Graphic Design and Industrial Design from San Jose State University.
