Kgomotso Tshaka

Kgomotso Tshaka serves as the Vice President of Sustainability and Closure Business at AngloGold Ashanti, a position held since February 2019, and is involved in Legacy Projects and Social Closure. Kgomotso is also a board member of the Global Compact Network South Africa and a member of the Board of Trustees for Keeping Children Safe-Coalition. Previous roles include board memberships at Chemwes and the National Business Initiative, as well as a directorship at the SA Chapter International Association of Women Judges. Kgomotso has driven corporate governance strategies as Vice President of the Business Women Association of South Africa and has a strong background in sustainable development initiatives, contributing to the Institute of Directors in Southern Africa. Kgomotso is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Finance, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship at The International School of Management and holds multiple degrees, including an MBA from GIBS Business School and a Bachelor of Social Science from the University of Cape Town.
