Masota Madawa

Masota Madawa is an experienced hydrogeologist with a strong background in groundwater exploration, borehole drilling, and water resource management, currently serving as Assistant Hydrogeologist at AngloGold Ashanti since January 2017. Previously, Masota held the position of Hydrogeologist at AngloGold Ashanti SAG Siguiri, where responsibilities included wet season preparations and stormwater control management. With a comprehensive educational background in hydrogeology, water well drilling, and mining technology, Masota has also contributed to various projects as a Site Supervisor, Principal Hydro geologist, and Assistant Chief Driller, demonstrating expertise in mineral exploration and construction supervision. Ongoing professional development includes specialized training in areas such as water pollution management and mining operations.
