Natalie Cumbaa

Natalie has a life-time love of all living creatures and thanks to a friend began volunteering with ARF in 2012. She started as a kennel duty volunteer and hasn’t looked back! She is currently serving as the Director of Education and Outreach and has joined the Board of Directors in 2015. Natalie’s main focus is to work with groups of all ages and backgrounds from scouts to church youth groups and high-school service groups introducing them to the world of rescue. In her day-to-day life, Natalie recently earned a Ph.D. in Marine Sciences from University of South Alabama and she now teaches biology at the Alabama School or Math and Science. She lives with her husband, two cats, Mr.Miyagi & Falkor, and her dogs Luna & Fran (a corgi mix adopted from ARF).
