Arthur Madrid

Arthur Madrid is the Chief Executive Officer of The Sandbox, a virtual world platform that allows players to create, own, and monetize gaming experiences using non-fungible tokens and the $SAND token. Madrid also serves as the CEO of Pixowl, a company known for developing family mobile games, which was acquired by Animoca Brands in 2018. Additionally, Madrid is a board member at Animoca Brands, focusing on game development, licensing, blockchain, and artificial intelligence. Previous roles include founding Wixi.com, a social media network, and 1-Click Media, a video-on-demand platform sold to ipercast. Madrid's career began as a consultant at Eurogroup Consulting France, and education includes a Master’s degree in Economics from Université Paris Dauphine - PSL.
