James Beaubien

Jim Beaubien was of counsel in the Century City office of Latham & Watkins, where he practiced since 1991. Mr. Beaubien formerly served as Office Managing Partner, as well as Chair of the Corporate Department, in the Los Angeles office. His practice focused on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and public companies.

Mr. Beaubien represents strategic and financial buyers and sellers in public and private transactions. He also advises on corporate governance, takeover defense planning, and securities laws. Mr. Beaubien’s practice spans a variety of industries, and includes extensive experience in consumer products, media and entertainment, health care, and real estate.
