Jaquita Monroe

Jaquita Monroe is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in social services, education advocacy, and judicial planning. Currently serving as a Senior Associate at the Annie E. Casey Foundation since October 2017, Jaquita previously held the position of Court Planner II at the State of Connecticut's Judicial Branch from July 2012 to October 2017. Earlier roles include Social Worker for the State of Connecticut, Director of Social Services and Family Advocate at Stamford Academy Charter School, Educational Advocate at Trailblazers Academy Charter School, and Director of the Education and Youth Component at CTE, Inc. Jaquita possesses a Bachelor of Arts in History from Goucher College and two Master of Science degrees in Special Education and Teaching and Urban Studies/Affairs from Southern Connecticut State University.
