Gilles Lasnier

Gilles Lasnier serves as IT Director for Hardware Engineering at OVHcloud since March 2020, where responsibilities include leading R&D efforts and managing the technical roadmap for the bare metal platform. In addition to this role, Gilles has been a Scientific Expert for the French National Research Agency (ANR) since 2017, evaluating the technical feasibility of research project grant applications. Prior to OVHcloud, Gilles held the position of Head Of Software Department and led Research & Development at CIELE Ingénierie from April 2014 to March 2020, focusing on partnerships and embedded systems. Gilles also conducted postdoctoral research on distributed real-time systems at ISAE/SupAero, UC-Berkeley, and ONERA, and completed a PhD in computer science at Télécom Paris in 2012.
