Jesús Almenara Rescalvo

Jesús Almenara Rescalvo is an experienced R&D Engineer II currently at Ansys since September 2024, previously holding the position of Ingeniero mecánico at ESTEYCO from October 2020 to September 2024. As a Research Assistant at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid from October 2018 to October 2020, Jesús contributed to the Modelling, Numerical Simulation and Industrial Mathematics group, focusing on a Master Thesis regarding graphene membranes. Jesús also gained experience as a Research Intern at IMDEA Materials, where work included a Bachelor Thesis on lithium-ion battery electrodes, and as a Composite Manufacturing Intern at FIDAMC, collaborating on composite materials for a Formula racing team. Involvement in Formula UC3M spanned roles in structural design, aerodynamics, and financial management. Jesús holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and Georgia Institute of Technology and a Master’s in Industrial Mathematics.
