Tomasz Janyst

Tomasz Janyst serves as the Regional Head of EMEA Compliance at Ant Group since April 2020, overseeing compliance teams across licensed entities in the UK, Netherlands, and Luxembourg. In addition to managing compliance projects and regulatory relationships, Tomasz is the legal, compliance, AML, and privacy lead for key Ant Group initiatives in the region and holds a board member position at Ant Group/WorldFirst entities. Prior to this role, Tomasz was the Chief Compliance Officer at Alipay (Europe) Limited S.A. and held various compliance leadership positions at ICBC (Europe) S.A. and ICBC (Europe). Tomasz's extensive background includes legal drafting, compliance analysis, and AML activities, alongside a robust educational foundation with degrees in law and Chinese studies from the University of Warsaw, as well as advanced studies from prestigious institutions such as the University of Florida and Peking University.
