Perception Engineer at ANYbotics

Thierry Backes is currently a Perception Engineer at ANYbotics, having previously served as a Software Engineer II focusing on Autonomy Perception at Vay. Backes has expertise in extrinsic and intrinsic multi-view camera calibration, as well as camera and LiDAR-based obstacle detection, tracking, and collision prediction. Prior to Vay, Backes held the position of Team Leader Driverless Perception and Driverless Perception Engineer at AMZ Racing, contributing to the development of a driverless racing car.
