Ken Cope

Ken Cope, PhD, currently serves as Senior Vice President of Time Away & Life Solutions at Aon, starting July 2024, and holds the position of Adjunct Faculty Instructor at Baker University since September 2019, teaching courses in Human Resources Strategy, Executive Leadership, and Sustainability for Future Success. Ken is the Founder of Axis Insights, a consultancy focused on absence management and learning & development, operating from November 2020 until June 2024. Previously, Ken was President of Matrix Absence Management, where leadership efforts led to revenue growth and product innovation from July 2012 to October 2020. Ken's extensive experience also includes roles as Chief Operating Officer at Aon Hewitt and Director of Absence Management at Broadspire. Ken's foundational career began in the US Navy, where service included deployment during Operation Desert Shield/Storm. Ken earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Leadership and Administration from Robert Morris University between 2016 and 2019.
