Shirley Heesakkers

Shirley Heesakkers is a Junior Consultant in de zorg at AP Support, beginning in January 2024. Previously, Shirley worked as a Facilitair & Horeca medewerkster at Ouwehands Dierenpark Rhenen from July 2020 to December 2023, and held the position of Junior Business Researcher at Parkinson Smartwatch from February 2022 to September 2022. From March 2020 to March 2022, Shirley was a Research Intern at the Donders Institute for Brain, Cognition and Behaviour, focusing on striatal connectivity in Parkinson’s disease, and also completed research on the influence of cognitive reserve on episodic memory related to hippocampal volume. Educationally, Shirley earned a Master's degree in Science, Management, Innovation at Radboud University (September 2021 - August 2022), a Master of Science in Neurobiology and Neurosciences (2019 - 2021), and a Bachelor of Science in Medical Biology (2016 - 2019), all from Radboud University.
