Vijay Vir Singh

Vijay Vir Singh currently serves as the Vice Chancellor at Apeejay Stya University since January 2024. With a long-standing academic career, Vijay Vir Singh has been a Professor and Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur, since May 2001. Additionally, from December 2020 to January 2024, Vijay Vir Singh held the position of President at Vivekananda Global University, focusing on education administration. Earlier roles include Pro-President and Dean at the University of Rajasthan from March 2015 to December 2020, and a position as Director of the NITI Aayog Chair. Vijay Vir Singh's academic tenure began as an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Rajasthan from 1986 to May 2001. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Economics from Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University, Agra, obtained between 1987 and 1990, and an MA in Economics from the University of Rajasthan, completed from 1980 to 1982.
