Shivi Selvaratnam

Shivi Selvaratnam is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in microbiology and environmental science. Currently serving as the Director of Chemistry and Microbiology Labs at Weas Engineering since January 2016, Shivi manages daily operations, develops strategic goals, and prioritizes workloads. Previously held roles include Senior Microbiologist at Weas Engineering, Technical Environmental Specialist at the Indiana Department of Environmental Management, and adjunct professor at the Indiana University Richard M. Fairbanks School of Public Health. Shivi's academic experience includes positions as Assistant Professor of Biology at Wabash College and Visiting Assistant Professor of Biology at DePauw University, along with a postdoctoral research associate role at the University of Notre Dame. Shivi earned a PhD in Microbiology from Drexel University and holds BA and BSc degrees in Biology and related sciences.
