Nikolaos Michailidis

Nikolaos Michailidis is a prominent academic and researcher in the field of materials science and engineering. Currently serving as a Research Professor at the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Texas A&M University since February 2020, Nikolaos also holds the position of Editor In Chief at Taylor & Francis Group since August 2020. Nikolaos contributes to the FEMS - Federation of European Materials Societies as an Executive Board Member since January 2021 and leads the Hellenic Metallurgical Society as President since December 2017. In addition, Nikolaos has been the Chairperson of the Center for Research & Development on Advanced Materials (CERDAM) since February 2016 and co-founded PLiN Nanotechnology S.A. in April 2015. Nikolaos served as the Director of the Interdepartmental Post Graduate Studies Program in "Processes & Technology of Advanced Materials" from July 2018 to August 2020.
