Vassilis Papadopoulos

Vassilis Papadopoulos serves as the Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki since November 2015, overseeing the Schools of Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, Dentistry, and Pharmacy. Additionally, Vassilis holds the position of Professor of Surgery, Head of the 1st University Surgical Clinic at Papageorgiou General Hospital, and Director of the A.T.L.S. Program in Northern Greece. Vassilis has an extensive teaching and training background, having engaged in academic and clinical activities at various levels, from Lecturer to Assistant Professor, and Associate Professor, contributing significantly to the education of medical students and residents. The educational journey culminated in a Doctor of Medicine degree from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, with a specialization in General Surgery.
