Sharon O’Keefe

Since July 2022, Ms. O’Keefe has served as a member of the Board. Sharon currently serves as a Non-Executive Director at Convatec Group, and at Adtalem Global Education.

Ms. O’Keefe’s career spans more than 40 years, beginning with her pursuits as a nurse and then extending into executive leadership. She most recently served as President of the University of Chicago Medical Center from 2011- July 2020. She has also acted as Senior Vice President for Operations at the University of Maryland Medical System in Baltimore, and as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Boston’s Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. She has held leadership roles with Barnes-Jewish Hospital and Loyola University Medical Center. Ms. O’Keefe has an M.S. in Nursing Administration from the Loyola University of Chicago, and a B.S. in Nursing from Northern Illinois University.
