Melissa Schoennagel

Melissa Schoennagel currently serves as COO of Business Strategy for Europe and APAC Credit at Apollo Global Management Inc. since April 2020. Previously, Melissa held various roles at GE Capital from April 2012 to April 2020, including Director of Business Development for Mergers & Acquisitions and Program Director for the Commercial Leadership Program. An earlier career at GE included positions as Assistant Vice President in the Strategic Investor Group and Associate in Syndications at GE Capital Markets, Inc. Melissa began a professional journey at GE Commercial Finance as an analyst in the Financial Management Program. Melissa holds a BA in Economics and Romance Languages from Dartmouth College and an MBA in Finance and Marketing from NYU Stern School of Business.
