Begüm Genç McEvoy

Begüm Genç McEvoy is a data scientist at Apple since July 2022, with previous experience as an assistant lecturer and postdoctoral researcher at University College Cork, contributing to H2020 projects such as BRAINE. Prior roles include postdoctoral research at Confirm SFI Research Centre for Smart Manufacturing and various assistant lecturer positions. Begüm conducted research on stable matching problems during a PhD at University College Cork, complemented by an MSc in Computer Engineering from Bilkent University and a BSc in Computer Engineering from Izmir University of Economics. Early professional experience includes roles in R&D at Vestel and Blackberry application development at TPAO.
