Ian Shaeffer

Ian Shaeffer is an accomplished architect and engineer with extensive experience in the technology industry, particularly in computer architecture and system design. Ian's career includes roles as Principal Architect for Macintosh Computers at Apple, Director of the System Architecture Lab at Samsung Semiconductor, and Senior Principal Engineer - Architecture at Rambus Inc. Previous positions also include Engineering Manager at Sun Microsystems and Lead Design Engineer at Afara Websystems. Ian holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Computer Architecture and VLSI from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Recording Arts from the University of Southern California.
