Yaniv Erel

Yaniv Erel is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in cloud engineering and software development. Currently serving as the Head of ASE Cloud Services Engineering at Apple since November 2019, Yaniv Erel oversees cloud initiatives across multi and hybrid platforms. Prior to Apple, Yaniv Erel held the position of Director of Software Engineering at Atlassian, leading a team of over 50 engineers in the Confluence Cloud division. Yaniv Erel began a career at eBay, progressing from Senior Software Engineer to Senior Engineering Manager, where responsibilities included developing a robust classification pipeline for eBay listings. Earlier roles included software engineering at eBay's IL Development Center and as an Oracle application DBA at Shopping.com. Yaniv Erel holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Software Engineering from Afeka Tel Aviv Academic College of Engineering.
