Andreas Meyer

Andreas Meyer is an experienced GIS Technician currently working at Applied EarthWorks, Inc. since February 2024. Previously, Andreas served as a GIS Specialist (on-call) at InContext - Cultural Resources Solutions from February 2023 to September 2024. Prior roles include Archaeology Crew Chief and Assistant Lab Director at Wapsi Valley Archaeology, Inc., where responsibilities encompassed fieldwork, laboratory management, and historic artifact analysis from May 2021 to September 2022, and Archaeologist at Commonwealth Heritage Group, Inc., assisting in various archaeological tasks from September 2020 to June 2021. Early in the career, Andreas held positions as an Archaeologist at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in September 2017 and as a Research Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, working on dinosaur fossil preparation from March 2017 to July 2017. Additionally, Andreas was a Library Archives Assistant from January 2015 to December 2016, supporting archival research. Andreas holds a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and a minor in Geographic Information Systems from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside.
