Paris de L'Etraz

Paris de l'Etraz, PhD, is an experienced academic and business leader currently serving as the Managing Director of the Venture Lab at IE Business School since January 2009, where responsibilities include teaching Entrepreneurship and overseeing international activities. Additionally, Paris holds roles as a Professor of Entrepreneurship, Associate Dean of Blended Programs at the Applied Innovation Institute, and Chairman at Applied Innovation Institute. Paris also serves as a Visiting Professor at KEIO Graduate School of Media Design and President & CEO of Amazing Lab, a boutique start-up investment fund. Past experiences include a partnership at MOSHIQA, directorship at Swissrisk, consultancy roles, and senior positions at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. and UBS Investment Bank, primarily in M&A. Paris holds a PhD from Esade and a BA/MA in Computer Science from Boston University.
