Nigar Babayeva

Nigar Babayeva currently serves as a QC Associate/QA Analyst at Applied Intellect, LLC since May 2023. Prior to this role, Nigar worked as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) at Delta Air Lines from September 2020 to March 2023 and as a QA Engineer at UnitedHealthcare from February 2018 to March 2020. Nigar’s academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Islamic History from Marmara University, ongoing since September 2011, a Master of Arts (MA) in Islamic Studies from Marmara University (2009-2011), and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in History (with Honors) from Baku State University (2005-2009). Additionally, Nigar pursued visiting research at Georgetown University focusing on Russian Orientalism and Islamic Studies (2016-2017) and held a visiting fellowship at the Göttingen Centre for Digital Humanities in Germany (October 2015 - January 2016), along with a certificate in Theology/Theological Studies from Trinity College Dublin (January 2014 - June 2014).
