Robert Visser

Robert Visser possesses extensive experience in technology leadership and innovation across multiple companies in the industry. Currently, Robert serves as Vice President in the CTO office and Managing Director for Advanced Technologies at Applied Materials. Prior roles include Chief Technology Officer at Vitex Systems, Philips Mobile Display Systems, and Philips PolyLED, as well as Acting CEO for Philips PolyLED. Additional experience includes various positions at Philips, with roles such as Project Leader for PolyLED and Department Head of the Polymers and Organic Chemistry Group. Robert holds a PhD in Physical Chemistry and a Master’s degree in Physical and Theoretical Chemistry, both from Leiden University.
