Rory Weaver

Rory Weaver is an experienced marketing and communications professional specializing in the water industry. Currently serving as the Director of Marketing at Aquatech since December 2024, Rory has previously held positions including Co-Chair of the IDRA Young Leaders Program and Director of Marketing and Business Development at FEDCO, focusing on solutions for desalination and zero liquid discharge. With a background that includes roles such as Desalination & Digital Editor/Product Manager at Global Water Intelligence and a communications intern at the Third Generation Project, Rory has developed expertise in product management, content creation, and client outreach. Educational credentials include an MLitt in Middle East, Central Asia Security Studies from the University of St Andrews, and a degree in Chinese with Korean from the University of Oxford, alongside extensive language studies.
