Rakan A. Alshebel

Rakan A. Alshebel is a Corrosion Engineer III at Saudi Aramco in the Consulting Services Department, with a focus on technical consultations, standards development, technologies evaluation and deployment, project support, and special business and technical initiatives. With extensive hands-on experience in production, operation, engineering, and business through various field assignments, Rakan has contributed to the development and revision of several Saudi Aramco standards and evaluated new technologies for corrosion monitoring. Additionally, Rakan serves as the Vice-Chairman of the Dhahran Saudi Arabia Chapter of the Association for Materials Protection and Performance and has been involved in organizing NACE regional conferences. Rakan's educational background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals, a student exchange program at Colorado School of Mines, and a CORe Credential of Readiness from Harvard Business School.
