Michael Putnam

Board Member at Arcadis

Michael Putnam is a Supervisory Board Member at Arcadis. Michael has also served as a Board Member for BAZALGETTE TUNNEL LIMITED (Tideway), ARCADIS, Network Rail, Portfolio, Southern Water, and various other companies from October 2012 to November 2017. In addition to their work with Arcadis, Michael has also been a Non Executive Director for Skanska since June 2001.

Michael has been highly influential in the construction industry, playing a key role in the Construction Leadership Council from 2012 for the Construction 2025 Industrial Strategy. Michael has also chaired the Green Construction Board (2012-2017), helping to lead the Board towards the strategic target of 50% reduction in green-house gases. As a Board member of the ACE (Association of Consulting Engineers) Advisory Board, Michael has helped shape and influence the voice of industry with government at the macro level.

Michael Putnam holds a BSc Hons in Civil Engineering from the University of Surrey. Michael also has a certification from the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors in Fellow of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, and a certification from the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) in Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers. Michael is also a Chartered Engineer from THE ENGINEERING COUNCIL.
