Wouter Jan Verheul

Wouter Jan Verheul is a Senior Consultant and Knowledge Lead at Arcadis Consultancy since May 2023. In addition, Wouter has been a Senior Researcher and Lecturer at TU Delft since April 2012, focusing on Urban Area Development within the Faculty of Architecture & Built Environment. Wouter also serves as a lecturer for the Master City Developer program at Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam, where Wouter previously held the role of Programme Manager until 2022. With experience as a freelance consultant from 2013 to May 2023, Wouter specializes in Public Leadership and Urban Area Development. Prior positions include Associate at the Architecture Institute Rotterdam and Programme Manager & Research Fellow at the Nederlandse School voor Openbaar Bestuur. Wouter's academic credentials include a Doctorate and a Master's degree in Public Administration Science from Erasmus University Rotterdam, complemented by studies in Sociology and Philosophy.
