Ahmed Belhadj

Ahmed Belhadj is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in metallurgy and product development. Currently serving as a New Product Manager at ArcelorMittal since September 2005, Ahmed specializes in the development of Advanced High Strength Steels for the automotive industry. Prior to this role, Ahmed worked as an R&D Project Manager at Cockerill-Sambre from March 2001 to September 2005, focusing on designing new steel products and providing technical assistance to steelmaking mills. Ahmed began a research career as a Postdoc Researcher at Ghent University Zwijnaarde, contributing to studies on laser cutting effects on electrical steels from July 1999 to March 2001. Ahmed holds a PhD in Metallurgy from the University of Lille 1 Sciences and Technology, attained between 1995 and 1999.
