Anastasios Vafeidis

Anastasios Vafeidis is a seasoned civil engineer with a Master of Engineering degree from Democritus University of Thrace. Currently serving as Construction Area Manager and Construction Site Manager at Artemis ITS since January 2023, Anastasios previously worked at Mott MacDonald from January 2021 to December 2022 as a Highway Engineer, contributing to notable projects such as the A428 Black Cat to Caxton Gibbet Improvements and the Royal Air Force base of Lossiemouth. Anastasios has hands-on experience from a role as Airport Fire Protection Engineer with the Hellenic Air Force, and as a Site Engineer Intern at AKTOR SA during the Thessaloniki Metro Construction project. Additionally, Anastasios held the position of Head of Public Relations for IACES, where responsibilities included managing social media and organizing engineering conferences.
