Alexander Wessels

Alexander Wessels is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the chemical, food, and pharmaceutical industries. Currently, Wessels serves as the Vice Chairman of the Board and CEO of Archroma, a leader in sustainable chemicals with a revenue of $1.5 billion. Additionally, Wessels holds positions on the Supervisory Board of Royal Agrifirm Group and as CEO of Caldic, a global distributor of specialty chemicals. Previous roles include Non-Executive Board Member at Accsys, Member of the Supervisory Board at Topigs Norsvin, and President and CEO of DSM Pharmaceutical Products, where Wessels oversaw significant mergers and business operations. Earlier in Wessels' career, leadership positions were held at Campina, Givaudan, and Unilever.
