Justin graduated from Seattle University with a Mechanical Engineering degree and currently works in the public transportation industry. He spent the majority of his career at Sound Transit holding roles of increasing responsibilities. For those efforts, he was nationally recognized in 2018 with Mass Transit’s prestigious Top 40 Under 40 national award. This award is presented to individuals who have made substantial contributions to the public transit industry. He now works for King County Metro delivering capital transit projects with partner agencies across King County. Justin’s passion for regional and community improvements go beyond public transit.
Justin also brings a wealth of community work and board experience to the organization. A born and raised Seattle native, he continually seeks to make meaningful positive contributions to his community in multiple ways. He participated in the Seattle Parks and Recreation Basketball program throughout his youth where he experienced firsthand the positive impacts of community volunteers and programs. Justin then spent 15 years coaching youth basketball teams before joining the ARC board.
