Margot Gerritsen

Margot Gerritsen is a Professor of Energy Resources Engineering at Stanford University and a Senior Associate Dean for Educational Initiatives in the Stanford University School of Earth, Energy & Environmental Sciences.

Additionally, Margot is the co-founder and co-director of Women in Data Science (WIDS), and she previously was the Director of Stanford’s Institute of Computational Mathematical Engineering (ICME).

Her latest research projects include traffic congestion and emissions simulation and mitigation, and wildland fire prediction and mitigation
