Leah Blackwood

Leah Blackwood currently serves as an Emergency Management Analyst at Argonne National Laboratory since July 2024. Previously, Leah held the position of Hurricane Program Manager with the South Carolina Emergency Management Division from May 2022 to June 2024 and worked as a Data Analyst for SBP from September 2022 to July 2023, focusing on post-disaster impacts and resilience planning projects. Leah's earlier experience includes roles as a Graduate Assistant at the University of South Carolina, Research Assistant at Carolinas Integrated Sciences & Assessments, Climatology Intern at the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources, and National Ocean Service Intern at NOAA. Leah holds a Master of Science in Geography and two Bachelor of Science degrees in Geography (Physical/Environmental) and Environmental Science from the University of South Carolina.
