Steven L. Wurtz

Steven L. Wurtz, Ed.D., serves as the Chief Academic Officer for Arlington Independent School District, where previous roles include Interim Chief Schools Officer and Interim Superintendent of Schools. Prior to this, Steven held the position of Division Director of Elementary Schools and Principal in Irving Independent School District, and also served as Principal in Grand Prairie Independent School District. Additionally, Steven's educational career began as an Assistant Principal and Bilingual Teacher (Spanish) in Irving ISD.
