Richard Nevins

Richard Nevins currently serves as the Assistant Executive Director at the Arlington TX Economic Development Corporation, a position held since December 2024. Prior to this role, Richard held the title of Business Manager for Redevelopment, Medical and Hospitality at the City of Grand Prairie from October 2022 to December 2024, where notable achievements included marketing the city to attract investments and establishing its first Retail Redevelopment Program. Richard's extensive experience in economic development spans from April 2006 to September 2022 as the Economic Development Director for the Mansfield Economic Development Corporation, overseeing an $8.5-million budget and attracting over $700 million in capital investments, creating more than 5,000 jobs. Earlier roles included serving as Regional Manager Economic Development at BNSF Railway, where Richard managed large site location projects across several states. Richard holds a BA in Political Science from The University of Texas at Dallas and a Certificate in Economic Development from the University of Oklahoma Economic Development Institute.
