Sakar Jain

Sakar Jain is a Senior Principal Engineer and Technical Director at Arm, leading the Systems IP verification team focused on advanced coherent interconnects and multi-chip solutions utilizing CHI, CCIX, CXL, and UCIe technologies since August 2018. Previously, Sakar served as a Principal Engineer and Manager at Qualcomm, overseeing functional verification of multi-core ARM server SoCs for data-center applications. Sakar held roles as a Senior Manager at Freescale Semiconductor, where responsibilities included verifying coherent subsystems for PowerPC-based networking processors, and as an Advisory Engineer at IBM, focusing on the Load-Store and Execution Units of the Cell microprocessor. Early career experience includes work at Cynergy System Design, developing EDA tools and leading an offshore development center. Sakar holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology.
